There are three different kinds of arthritis': osteoarthritis,
rheumatoid arthritis and gout. Arthritis literally means "inflammation
of the joints". An inflammation in the joint is the body's
way of healing the joint after an injury or disease. Your joints
are the essential parts of your body. Any type of pain related
to your joints is uncomfortable and unwanted.
Symptoms:
- Tenderness
- Swelling
- Stiffness
- Redness
- Warmth
Osteoarthritis - this is the most common type of arthritis It is caused when the cartilage at the end of your bones slowly wears away and causes the bones to rub together.
Rheumatoid Arthritis - this arthritis attacks mainly the hands, wrists and knees and it happens when the body's immune system attacks the inflammation in these joints as a disease, in return damaging the bone and surrounding muscle tissues.
Gout - this arthritis is caused by the body's inability to eliminate uric acid in the body which causes need shaped crystal like substances to form in the muscles and as a result can be very painful.
